Lucknow News Today: The State Human Rights Commission has taken cognizance of the incident of ethnic abuse, assault and insult with narrators in Bakewar police station area of Etawah. The Commission has sought an inquiry report from the SSP till 14 August.

Allahabad High Court advocate Dr. Gajendra Singh Yadav had filed a complaint with the State Human Rights Commission. It was told in the complaint that on June 21, at the invitation of villagers in Dadarpur village, narrator Mukut Mani Yadav along with his colleague Sant Singh Vyas and others had come to do religious stories. Everything went well for two days, but when the story ended on the night of 22 June, some local people asked the narrator their caste. The whole dispute started only after knowing the caste.
According to the complaint, the narrator and their colleagues were beaten up badly, cutting their head hair and peak. Religious dholak, harmonium etc. brought with them were also broken. It is also alleged that 25 thousand rupees were also taken away from the narrator. The situation became even more embarrassing when it was pretended to “purify” a woman by urination on the narrator and her companions.
Not only has the self -esteem of the storytellers about this whole incident, but this inhuman behavior is also an open violation of the right to live a dignified life. Also, this whole incident is considered to be an ethnic hatred and hurting religious sentiments.
On the complaint given by Dr. Gajendra Singh Yadav, the State Human Rights Commission has taken cognizance and sought an inquiry report from the Senior Superintendent of Police of Etawah (SSP). The commission says that the allegations made in the complaint are of serious nature, so it is necessary to take immediate report in this matter.

The Commission has directed that SSP Etawah will have to submit an inquiry report by 14 August 2025, and the next hearing will be held on 18 August. The Commission is very serious about what kind of hatred can be given to the society with a social and religiously active person.
