A shocking case has come to light from Kanpur. Here a woman has accused her husband of being impotent. The woman says that in the greed of dowry, the in -laws deliberately married her to an impotent young man. On protesting, he was assaulted and an attempt was also made to kill him.
The victim, who hails from Rawatpur, was married to a youth of Unnao district in March 2024. On the first night of marriage, the woman came to know that her husband is physically disabled. He told this to his brother -in -law the next morning, but he postponed it jokingly. A few days later, when the victim again spoke on the issue, the in-laws started abusing her. According to the woman, the in -laws admitted that they already knew everything and this marriage was done only for dowry.
When the woman talked about treating her husband, the in -laws demanded two lakh rupees from him. The woman hoped that things would improve, so she started living there. During this time, his brother started keeping a bad eye on him and started molesting him. When he opposed it, he was beaten badly.

The woman alleged that when she was called for a conversation with her maternal uncle, she was tried to hang her so that she could be abolished instead of resolving the case. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against husband, brother -in -law and Jethani in serious sections. The police officer said that the matter is being investigated and necessary action will be taken.
