New Delhi: Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko shared a deep emotional memory of the tragic car accident. In this accident, his father C.P. Chacko died. In an interview with The Q, Shine spoke openly about the trauma, pain and irreversible zero arising out of the incident.
Referring to the father, the actor said, ‘He gave me a biscuit… then everything became calm.’ The accident took place on the Hosur National Highway near Palakkad in Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu. At that time, Shine, who was recovering from drug addiction, took medicine to help in sleep. Remembering, he said, ‘Dad gave me a biscuit, maybe two or three times.’ I was resting on the back seat… Next time when I opened my eyes, the car had crashed. After that his father never spoke.
Hero’s mother and brother also injured in accident
Shine, his mother Mary Carmel and his brother John, who were injured, the driver miraculously survived. Shine’s left hand was badly injured and had to put 30 stitches; There was also a small fracture in his spine. Shine cried crying, ‘Mother kept asking’ Where are the daddy?… Let me tell you that the most difficult part for Shine was to see that her mother was trying to understand the tragedy. She kept asking, ‘Where is Daddy?’ Even though he was next to us, I lying and would say, ‘Daddy is with us here,’ Hopefully he would get some peace.
The actor expresses grief

Shine further says, this accident hurt him emotionally. Until I lost my father, the death of someone else’s parents was another news. The actor said, “That day, I was on the road, crying and pleading for help.” The actor also revealed that he is not considering remarriage, as it seems very heavy to worry about raising and safety of children at this time. Shine said that if his father or his brother had died in place of his father that day, the pain would have been unimaginable for his parents.
