Assistant BLO Sanjeev Kumar in Samastipur said that the documents are no longer mandatory in filling the calculation form. Birth date, mobile number, and Aadhaar numbers are optional. The form will be accepted even if there is no documentation.
Calculating form is now more simple
Assistant BLO said that while filling the calculation form, some necessary information is sought, such as date of birth, mobile number, and Aadhaar number can also be filled, but it is optional. In the front column, there is an option to fill the name of father, mother and spouse and the epic number of their voter ID. However, according to the new guideline, there is no longer any compulsion to give information and documents of parents or spouse. Earlier, the documents that were required, such as caste certificate, residential certificate, educational certificate, passport, pension certificate etc., were instructed to submit any one of them, but now they have all been optional.
Now the form is being accepted without a document
The Assistant BLO clearly stated that the documents were mandatory in the earlier orders, but according to the guidelines now, if a person does not have documents, his form will still be accepted. Those who were born before 1 July 1987 and if they have a copy of the 2002 voter list then it is also valid. But now there is no need to give that document. If it is, then you put a copy of the voter list, if it is not, then submit it like this. He said that the aim of the government is that all citizens can easily fill the calculation form and for this, submission of documents has become an alternative process. This system has brought relief to those who do not have documents, but they are eligible citizens.
