Calculation form in Samastipur was easy to fill, documents are now optional.

Samastipur: Often, there is a question in the minds of people, what information is to be filled in the calculation form or manifesto? The local 18 team had a special conversation with Assistant BLO Sanjeev Kumar in Samastipur district. He told that in this letter a person has to announce that he is over 18 years of age, is a citizen of India and a resident of the said address. Some options are given in the form such as whether born in India before 1 July 1987 or between 1 July 1987 to 2 December 2004, it has to be tickled. Based on this, a list of date of birth and birth place is also given, but according to the new guidelines, the documents are not mandatory. If someone has documents available, then they can submit, otherwise the form will be accepted without a document.

Calculating form is now more simple
Assistant BLO said that while filling the calculation form, some necessary information is sought, such as date of birth, mobile number, and Aadhaar number can also be filled, but it is optional. In the front column, there is an option to fill the name of father, mother and spouse and the epic number of their voter ID. However, according to the new guideline, there is no longer any compulsion to give information and documents of parents or spouse. Earlier, the documents that were required, such as caste certificate, residential certificate, educational certificate, passport, pension certificate etc., were instructed to submit any one of them, but now they have all been optional.
