Smelly water comes in homes

Talking to Local18, Satish Kumar of the village says that I have been born here, but never seen the problem that is happening this time. Even if the water comes, then it comes dirty continuously for five-six days. There is so much smell in it that neither can be bathed nor can be drunk. Many times water does not come for a week. We either buy water or carry it from far and wide.

Have to buy water from outside

Shakuntala Devi says that we have been living here for many generations, but the water problem never ended. Smelly water comes, bathing is also scared. In compulsion, one has to buy water from outside. There is no water for four days. The same situation happens in every summer.

Another woman of the village, Dharmavati, says that both water and electricity have become very difficult. The light goes several times a day and when it goes, it does not come for three to four hours. Children and the elderly have the most problems. It has become difficult even to run a fan in the house. Annu, who comes to this village after marriage, says that the water that comes from the tank smells like a gutter. It is neither drinkable nor bathing. One has to bring water from outside. The light also disappears for several hours a day.

Leaders make promise during elections

At the time of elections, the leaders come, make promises but after that no one takes it even to the situation. There is a clear demand for the villagers, there should be a permanent solution to the problem of water and electricity. People of Daulatabad village are appealing to the administration through Local18 to find a permanent solution to this basic problem as soon as possible. The people of the village say that if attention is not paid in time, then the situation can worsen. In the summer, everyone from children to the elderly is upset, but no one is worried about them.
