Varanasi: Preparations for Sawan are going on in ‘Nagari of Bhole’ i.e. in Kashi. All arrangements are being made for this from Kashi Vishwanath Dham to the railway station. It is estimated that this time in the month of Sawan, one and a half crore devotees will come to Kashi for Baba’s darshan and Jalabhishek. In view of this approximate number of devotees, the temple and district administration have started preparations. There will be arrangements on the lines of Mahakumbh in the entire month of Sawan for crowd control at the Cantt railway station of Varanasi. This will be the first time when a holding area of ​​Kanwari and Shiva devotees is being built at Cantt railway station in Varanasi. This system was implemented for crowd management during Prayag Mahakumbh-2025.

Apart from crowd management at the station, the railway administration is also fixing the system for other basic facilities. Station director Arpit Gupta said that additional CCTV cameras are being installed at the station for security.

Besides, barricading is also being arranged at the station. Apart from this, special cleanliness has also been made along with sanitization at the entire Sawan station. Apart from this, a team of health unit will be deployed with a team of doctors for emergency at the station. Arpit Gupta said that help has also been sought from the headquarters for the deployment of additional doctors at the station. So that Shiva devotees do not have any kind of problem in the spring.

Holding area will be built in Banaras
Arpit Gupta informed that a holding area is being built for Kanwari in the circulating area of ​​the station. Apart from this, special trains will also be arranged for Kanwari and Shiva devotees if needed. Let us tell you that millions of Shiva devotees come to Kashi every day during the month of Sawan. At this time, the pressure at the station becomes 2 times. In such a situation, every necessary step is being taken for the convenience of the devotees.
