Third time suspension! Satna’s teacher wrote ‘Hajiri’ written by whitener, Deo immediately took action

The case is of Sada, the primary school of Majhgawan development block, where posted teacher Sarita Singh has been suspended for the third consecutive time. In the latest case, he tried to register his presence by putting whitener in the employee attendance register while being absent in the school.

Teacher stuck in investigation
Local villagers lodged a complaint regarding the absence of Sarita Singh, after which the education department team conducted a surprise inspection of the school. During the inspection, it was revealed that Sarita Singh had not been coming to school for several days, but showed her presence in the attendance register using whitener. When the register was examined, there was clear evidence of tampering in it, on the basis of which the District Education Officer (DEO) suspended Sarita Singh with immediate effect.

Action for third time

This is not the first time action has been taken against Sarita Singh. In the year 2023 and July 2024, suspension action has been taken due to allegations of serious negligence on him. In the case of 2024, he sent a woman from the village to school in his place by flying the rules. The matter reached the local MLA, after which the department had to take a tough step. At the same time, in 2023, a salary increase was stopped due to his undisciplined behavior.

Did not improve despite warning in the past
In April 2025, the DEO office issued a show cause notice on the frequent absence of Sarita Singh and another school teacher Jitendra Kumar. After the notice, Jitendra Kumar started coming to school, but Sarita Singh’s attitude remained stubborn. He neither gave any reply nor started registering attendance, due to which the department had to take action against him again.
