The water level of Narmada river has increased due to heavy rains in Mandla during the last 24 hours. Two youths who came to celebrate a picnic from Rajasthan in Bhanpur, Mandsaur, drowned in Gandhi Sagar Dam. In Katni, a young man was swept away by a strong current. According to the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, Bichia of Mandla, East Madhya Pradesh recorded the highest rainfall. Barasivani (Balaghat) received 155 mm rainfall, 150 mm in Matiyari (Mandla), 145 mm in Balaghat, 144 mm in Shahdol and 141.5 mm in Dhanaura (Seoni).
The Meteorological Department has issued rain, orange and yellow alert in many districts of the state. In this, the red alert of lightning and extreme heavy rain continues in Mandla and Balaghat. At the same time, districts like Narmadapuram, Betul, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara and Pandhurna Maihar continue to have a lightning and heavy rain alert. Also, the yellow alert of heavy rains continues in districts like Raisen, Sehore, Harda, Khandwa, Khargone, Dewas, Shivpuri, Sheopurkalan, Katni, Panna, Damoh, Sagar and Maihar. At the same time, Bhopal, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Burhanpur, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Shajapur, Agar, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Guna, Ashoknagar, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Sivi, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Nadi-Dadhi, Tikamgarh and Nadi, Light rain may occur.
Know maximum/minimum temperature
Talking about the maximum temperature districts of the state, Khajuraho (Chhatarpur) recorded 36.6 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, 35 degrees were recorded in Gwalior, 34.4 degrees in Satna, 34.2 degrees in Tikamgarh and 34 degrees Celsius in Rewa. Talking about the lowest minimum temperature, the lowest mercury in Pachmarhi (Narmadapuram) was recorded at 14.8 degrees. Khargone was recorded at 17.8 degrees, 18.2 degrees in Narsinghpur, 19 degrees in Khandwa and 20.8 degrees in Betul.
Talking about the maximum temperature of five big cities of the state, the maximum temperature of Gwalior was recorded the highest. The mercury was recorded at 35 degrees here. Apart from this, the maximum temperature of Ujjain was 30 degrees, 29.8 degrees in Jabalpur, 27.8 degrees in Indore and 27.4 degrees Celsius in Bhopal.
