- Owaisi has expressed his desire to join the Grand Alliance.
- Rahul and Tejashwi will discuss this issue on 9 July.
- There is a dilemma in the grand alliance with Owaisi’s entry.
Owaisi’s party AIMIM shocked the grand alliance by securing 5 seats of the frontier Bihar on its own in the last assembly election. To a large extent, his success was achieved at the cost of RJD because Muslim voters were traditionally considered RJD’s vote bank. Yadav and Muslim equation have been the basis of Lalu’s long political innings and now Tejashwi also wants to reach the corridor of power by worshiping this equation. Only after this, Congress and RJD described Owaisi as BJP’s B team and later RJD broke 4 out of 5 MLAs and mixed with them. This time fear is on both sides, fear of loss of RJD, Owaisi’s winning MLA later fear of going with RJD. In such a situation, both are strengthened and compulsion.
The Congress understands this trick of Owaisi very well, so no concrete response has come from its side so far. Rahul Gandhi will go to Patna on July 9, where he is expected to talk to him in this regard. Well, due to the attitude of the Grand Alliance, there is no hope of opening the door of the Grand Alliance for Owaisi.
